ITEM CONDITION AND RMA INFORMATION:

Please bid with confidence. I take great caution in presenting posted items as true to form as possible. This item has been inspected to ensure that it is undamaged and working properly unless otherwise noted. I spend considerable time researching and recording the pertinent details posted in this auction. When possible I try to include a picture of all the equipment including accessories and extra parts. If you have questions that are not answered by this ad please do not hesitate to email me. Please note equipment is sold "AS IS". If by some remote chance this item arrives DOA, (dead on arrival), I may elect to either repair, replace or issue a refund (less shipping costs) at my discretion. Any request for an adjustment must be received  no later than seven (7) days after item has been received. If notification has not been received within that time, it will be presumed the item is working as stated, and therefore any requests for adjustments will not be honored.  If an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is issued, the item must be received back to our facility within fourteen (14) days of the RMA issue date.  If the RMA item has not been received within that time, the item and any issues will be in full ownership of the buyer. PLEASE NOTE:  Though all batteries are tested under a full load for at least 10 minutes, one cannot estimate the life expectancy of a used battery.  Therefore, all batteries sold with an item are included "AS IS" in unknown condition.  This does not apply to new batteries being sold as replacements.

ITEM RETRACTION

Mr2ndHand has the right to retract any item from any auction or sale for any reason.  This can happen at any time, up to and including just before the item is shipped out of the facility.  Though it is our practice to commit to selling all items up for auction, we stand behind our products and may happen to see some things that we do not find acceptable, and thus will not sell those items.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

The winning bidder will typically be notified within one (1) business day after the auction closes. Once notification has been received, I must receive payment within seven (7) days. If payment is not received, I reserve the right to nullify the auction and/or contact other bidders and file a Non-Paying Bidder (NPB) Alert. I will accept  Visa, MasterCard, PayPal (US accounts only), Money Orders, Wire Transfer, Cashiers Checks, or Certified Checks as methods of payment. I will not accept personal or company checks, escrow services, BillPoint, International credit card orders, or any other method of payment.  

Please remember to include with your payment  the auction item number and your full shipping address, including the apartment or suite number if applicable. Remember, we only ship via the United Parcel Service (UPS) unless otherwise noted in our add -- therefore, we cannot ship to PO, APO, of FPO boxes.  New Jersey residents are required to add 7% sales tax.  New Jersey resellers need to include with payment a completed and signed ST-3 form to be exempted from the 7% sales tax.  

SECURE PACKAGING Mr2ndHand takes the extra steps to properly clean, prepare, and package your purchase.  Please take a moment to click here to view our feedback from many satisfied customers. For most items, Mr2ndHand will package your item using foam via the machine pictured to the right.  This professional system helps to reduce possible damage due to overly aggressive package handling. Delicate packages are no problem for Mr2ndHand! SHIPPING, HANDLING AND INSURANCE Winning bidder agrees to pay the shipping fees per the terms of the auction. For items requiring a freight carrier, the winning bidder must contact Mr2ndHand and will receive, in a timely manner, a shipping quote for the purchase.  Upon receipt of payment, the item will be securely packaged, fully insured, and promptly shipped through UPS (United Parcel Service) usually within 2 business days. Again, UPS will not deliver to a PO, APO, or FPO box.  After shipment has been sent, you will be notified with the UPS tracking number.  Packages too large for UPS will be shipped on a pallet via motor freight. If dock high unloading is not available, your assistance will be required to unload your purchase from the truck. Pallet and package  may be very heavy, so it is suggested two people are present at the time of arrival.

FEEDBACK POLICY

Feedback is an important part of the eBay experience.  POSITIVE feedback is posted for all bidders once payment is received. NEGATIVE feedback is posted for ALL non-paying bidders (NPBs). After you have received your item, and are satisfied with your purchase, your returning of positive feedback is greatly appreciated. MEMORY ISSUES: IT Equipment: All memory has been thoroughly tested with a SIMM Check II Plus. It is the buyers responsibility to determine if the posted memory is compatible with their systems before bidding. No refunds will be given for system compatibility issues.

DEFINITION OF GOOD USED COSMETIC CONDITION:

As with all used products, they are subject to having some cosmetic flaws.  
Unless an item is specifically said to be in new or mint condition, the following list of imperfections may apply.
Note that these imperfections in no way interfere with the "working" performance of the item.
Each individual lab item includes a description of its condition, however, all items deemed acceptable for sale could include the following listed below.

Lab Equipment:

• Hairline cracks in the case

• Scratches or scuff marks in surface finish

• Minor discoloration

• Light corrosion

IT Equipment:

• Hairline cracks in the case

• Scratches or scuff marks in surface finish

• Missing latches which hold the unit closed

• Missing doors or PC-Card/PCMCIA covers

• Missing knock out plates

• May have a few bad pixels (usually none, but may have up to 3)

• IBM T-series laptops may have up to 4 small white "pressure marks" on the screen

• CD/DVD Drives:  Note that our used CD, CD-RW, DVD, and DVD+/-RW drives are NOT guaranteed to read copied/burned media.  They are only tested with and guaranteed to read media originally produced by the manufacturer.

BIDDERS WITH QUESTIONABLE  FEEDBACK:

Per our terms, bidders MUST have a feedback rating of at least 1 to place a bid.
If your feedback rating is 0 or negative, your bid will not be honored and will be removed before the auction end.

TECHNICAL ISSUES:

IT & Lab Equipment:

Please do not bid unless you are fully confident on installing software (i.e. Windows), as I cannot offer technical support on software.
All computers and laptops ship without drivers or software (DOS-level CD drivers are provided so you can read the CD device, where applicable).
Buyer is responsible for properly installing drivers for all internal and external peripherals included in the sale.

Lab Equipment:

Please do not bid unless you are capable of operating all lab equipment purchased in a safe and responsible manner.

INDEMNIFICATION: :

Buyer agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless and to defend, at its sole cost and expense, MR2NDHAND and Seller from and against any and all claims, liens, loss, liability, judgments and other enforceable rulings and executions asserted or imposed upon MR2NDHAND and/or Seller resulting from, relating to or arising out of the handling, use, operation and disposition of the equipment purchased by Buyer after delivery of said equipment to Buyer.

SUMMARY:

Auction terms are legally binding. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not bid.
